Non-formal methods

Our non-formal educational and learning methods explore different aspects of what education could or should be.

Non-formal methods are customised to the needs and specific characteristics of each learner, by exploring their learning styles and perceptions and challenging their understanding of learning and education. Finding the best communication channel for everyone is our objective, recognising everyone learns and assimilates information differently is our skill. Some people need to use their body to express, others like to write, some to draw, some just talk and others prefer to stay on the side-lines, yet often all of them are in the same space, at the same time, learning the same thing. Non-formal methods mix the learning experience so that everyone learns and with group reflection gets an opportunity to consolidate what they have learned.

Non-formal methods include games, outdoor activities, group-reflections or body expression. By exploring learning opportunities described above in groups or individuals, everyone will “learn by doing” and have fun. Our trainers will deliver opportunities to explore self-expression, self-analysis and self-awareness during the reflection sessions as the final step to the learning experience.
