From 26th of July until 1st of July we had our second meeting from the strategic partnership Strong Young Minds. To remind for those who don't know: this project aims into creation of the tools for mental health education for teenagers- that is a training curriculum, board game, handbook and videos. Before this meeting all partners had few months of work mostly of testing the first draft of the training curriculum that was developed and brainstorming and creating of the first draft prototype for the board game. During four days in Iceland we achieved a lot- we gathered feedback from training curriculum and plan adaption towards second and more final prototype. Trainers Appraisal The appraisal of the professional development of trainers takes new steps in Europe. We seek for new ways to assess our professional competencies and support the development of practices to achieve better recognition of people working in the training field, and to contribute to the overall quality and impact in youth work training.Last year, the International Youth Work Trainers Guild (further in the text – Trainers Guild) successfully piloted the prototype of a 360° review system to support the (self-)assessment of trainer competences and performance. During the second week of May, took place close to Vinci the course where the 10 educators shared and learned tool and methods to better provide learning experiences to their learners. The course is a part of the project Skills for Inclusion and the program was divided in categories targeting specific needs and learning objectives as there is big diversity among learners associated with our educators. The main topics were Learning to Learn, Self-Awareness and Emotional Management, Theater of the Oppressed, Non-Violent Communication and Communication Awareness through Transactional Analysis, Cooperation, Negotiation, Empathy and the skill recognition methodology of Open Badges. From 10th to 15th of January we were in the meeting of KA2 Strategic Partnership 'Strong Young Minds' it was first meeting starting our long term partnerships between us Ha Moment, Scouts Valencians - organisation from Spain, Minte Forte from Romania, Hugarafl from Iceland, Ask Yourself from Romania. The meeting was dedicated towards getting to know all the partners better and working on 2 intellectual outputs that is a board game and training curriculum.
