Communication for Cooperation- International Training Course for youth workers

Training Courses
Working as trainers and educators with different people, having experience in many groups, being hired as freelancers by different companies and organisations, through years we gathered sad and irritating reflections that we all sometimes lack of basic and one of the most important skill that is communication. Trainers Appraisal The appraisal of the professional development of trainers takes new steps in Europe. We seek for new ways to assess our professional competencies and support the development of practices to achieve better recognition of people working in the training field, and to contribute to the overall quality and impact in youth work training.Last year, the International Youth Work Trainers Guild (further in the text – Trainers Guild) successfully piloted the prototype of a 360° review system to support the (self-)assessment of trainer competences and performance. The system was built around the European Training Strategy (ETS) competence model for trainers and offered an online solution to collect the feedback from training participants, colleagues and training service contractors.Furthermore, during the Bridges for Trainers event 2016 in Vienna, SALTO Training and Cooperation…

I’ve known the guys from Ha Moment for years. First time I’ve met Sergio was in 2013 and since then we’ve been meeting at least twice per year, by chance or by will! Since then we have lived uncountable amazing experiences within Erasmus+ projects. Do you think I could believe it when he asked me to work with Ha Moment in Lisbon? I guess it took me half a second to decide that I definitely wanted such an experience! The best way to accomplish this idea was doing a sort of internship which is actually possible thanks to the European Commission. This special way is called “Jobshadowing” and with the expertise from Ha Moment and Elisa’s determination, we’ve been able to present an Erasmus+ project that has been approved eventually.…

It started by writing a project 4 days before the deadline, and we did it. When I received the news that it was approved I was shopping for a Christmas meal, I think, and I started to jump all around the supermarket. When I arrived in Lisbon I didn’t really know what to expect, but I was welcomed with a nice meal by the river and cool, positive energies. Then I was explained what Ha Moment was currently working on and I fully realised how much I could learn from these guys (and lady). The 5 weeks of jobshadowing foreseen by the project went pretty quickly, among work meetings, coffees, a Storytelling training course to write, more coffee, getting to understand the Erasmus+ KA2 projects, bread and butter, a nice…
